Message	and idle without the air regulator. In my situation, after I removed the air regulator it developed a momentary drop in idle speed from 1250 to 1000 about 3 seconds after the engine start with full recovery around 20 seconds later. I suspect it's more of my inability to properly tune the startup fueling to compensate for the reduced air flow. My latest strategy is reducing startup enrichment so it zeros out faster, but it's slow to see any progress.
